What a gorgeous and peaceful stay. First off, the property inside and outside were immaculate, the checkin was easy and my party was extremely comfortable. The back patio is great, with space to eat, visit, and hot tub. The kitchen is fantastic with every tool anyone would need to cook. The beds are all comfortable with excellent linens, the bathrooms were sparkling clean and smartly built.
Blu, the barn cat was both an amazing greeter and a companion to anyone who happened to be outside when he wasn't doing his job, which he seems to be very proud of. Good cat.
The local town is just close enough to be accessible but far enough away that the property is incredibly peaceful. The view from anywhere in the home tugs at the heart.
One other thing to note - The fridge has a great ice maker! No ice trays to deal with here, just an obviously well maintained fridge unit.
My friends and I saw wonderful sunsets and sunrises every day, we'll always have grand memories of this trip.

Very beautiful place! Looks exactly like the description. Clean and well stocked.
All appliances were in good condition and worked well. We really enjoyed cooking and eating our meals here!
Front porch was comfortable but it is a busy road with traffic. Back patio areas were very nice and we enjoyed the fire pit in the evenings.
The host provided window AC units and space heaters for the bedrooms upstairs, the first floor temperature is maintained with a thermostat. Everyone was happy with the bedrooms/beds in our group.
We would stay here again!

We had a 5-star visit at Sandy’s beautiful house! We felt like we were staying at a friend’s home — everything was well-stocked and attractively decorated, with thoughtful touches to welcome us. And super-clean! The setting is peaceful: we enjoyed sitting on the front porch and watching kayakers paddling on the river, and we loved the smoke-free fire pit nestled in the wooded backyard terrace. The Blackstone grill on the patio is superb for cooking up bacon and sausages for breakfast!
Sandy is super-organized and a prompt communicator. We highly recommend Sandy’s house for anyone visiting the Mohican State Park area.

The place was absolutely beautiful. We loved the farm setting it was beautiful. Took a trip to the lake and spent a day at the lake and splash pad. The outside patio was more than we expected. Spent most of our time enjoying the outside. Will definitely love to return here next year.

Absolutely perfect! Tucked away and wonderfully private, this place felt like our own little retreat. We spent evenings by the fire pit, mornings in the hot tub, and ended our days soaking in the gorgeous claw-foot tub. The views of the rolling farm fields were stunning and made everything feel extra peaceful. Every detail was thoughtful, everything spotless, and the whole property had such a welcoming feel. We left completely recharged and can’t wait to come back!

Sandy’s place was absolutely spectacular. We were floored by every room. Every detail was taken into consideration. The views from the house are stunning and Blu the barn cat was a special treat. We would love to return to stay again.

The house was beautiful. Everything was so peaceful and enjoyable. Sandy was responsive and helpful. Only regret is that we didn’t book for longer this trip. It was a wonderful stay in a beautiful home. 100/10 would book again!

Our group stayed at the Hanover Haus for only two nights, but we had great sleep before the wedding and ample space to spread out to enjoy our grandson, our children, and their significant others. The kitchen was well stocked for our in home meals. Sandy was quick to reply to a question upon our arrival and resolved the issue. Thank you for sharing your home! We would have loved to use more of the outdoor space with the firepit/grill/pizza oven, but it was a little too warm that weekend. Maybe next time!

This beautifully renovated cottage makes you feel right at home as soon as you walk in the front door. The cool air was a wonderful relief from the hot temperatures outside. We didn’t spend much time in the backyard or in the arcade room because of time spent in Amish country and Mohican Park. The kitchen was well stocked and perfect for our dinner and breakfast meals. We will definitely return again if we’re in the area!
